Notice of Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the Twenty Fourth Annual General Meeting of the members of the McCracken Golf Club Inc will be held as follows:
Date: 11th May 2024
Time: 4.00pm
Place: Baudins Room, McCracken Country Club, McCracken Drive
At the meeting, members will be asked to vote to:
- accept the Minutes of the last Annual General Meeting as a true and correct record of the proceedings of that meeting.
- adopt the Annual Financial Statements and Auditors Report.
- adopt Officers’ Annual Reports.
- elect relevant Officers and Committee Members.
- appoint an Auditor for the 2024/2025 financial year.
- appoint a Public Officer for 2024/2025.
Election of Officers/Committee Members
Nominations are now open for the following committee positions:
President – 2 Years
Vice President – 2 Years
Treasurer – 2 Years
Secretary – 2 Years
Men’s Captain – 2 Years
Committee Member – 2 years
Committee Member – 2 years
Nominations must be received by the Secretary no later than 5pm 13th April 2024.
Proxies
- If you are unable to attend the Annual General Meeting, you can appoint a proxy to represent you and vote on your behalf.
- You must fill out and submit a proxy form, either online or using the prescribed form.
- By completing and submitting the Proxy Form you authorize your nominated Proxy to vote on all matters that arise during the meeting on your behalf.
- The completed proxy form must be lodged with the Chairman or his delegated representative or submitted online via our Club Website no later than 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the Annual General Meeting.
General Business
Members may request items to be tabled for discussion at the meeting. Items of General Business are to be submitted to the Secretary no later than 10 days prior to the AGM. Questions from the floor will be taken on notice and advised by email.
